About

Cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) has revolutionized structural biology by enabling high-resolution visualization of heterogeneous biomolecular assemblies. However, a central challenge remains: developing computational methods that can resolve structural heterogeneity including continuous motions, discrete states, and compositional heterogeneity.

To encourage the development and benchmarking of HRAs, we invite the cryo-EM community to test single particle reconstruction algorithms on three new curated synthetic and experimental datasets:

  1. Compositional Heterogeneity
  2. Conformational Heterogeneity
  3. Pose Entanglement
